Getting Started
Zena is an AI-powered audit platform built exclusively for Amazon AFP (Amazon Freight Partners) and DSP (Delivery Service Partners). It audits maintenance invoices from vendors like Amerit, TA, Goodyear, Kooner, and Element — and verifies AFP and DSP pay settlements against your route history, flagging missing route credits, incorrect block rates, unpaid carry-over hours, and settlement discrepancies. Zena flags overcharges and billing errors with exact dollar amounts, then generates ready-to-submit dispute reports.
No. Zena is built for operators, not accountants. You upload your document and Zena does the analysis — flagging every discrepancy in plain language with clear next steps. No spreadsheets, no formulas, no experience required.
Create a free account at askzena.ai. Prime subscribers get 30 days free with full access — no charge until your trial ends. Once your account is created, go to your dashboard and click "Audit an Invoice" or "Audit a Settlement" to upload your first document.
No. Zena is an independent platform and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Amazon.com, Inc. Zena is built by and for AFP and DSP carriers to help them protect their own financial interests.
Invoice Audits
Zena audits invoices from any vendor that provides a standard work order format. This includes Amerit Fleet Solutions, TA Truck Service, Goodyear, Kooner, Element Fleet, and any other maintenance or roadside vendor your fleet uses. If the invoice has line items for labor, parts, and fees, Zena can audit it.
Zena accepts PDF, PNG, JPG, and Excel (.xlsx, .xls) files. For best results, upload the original PDF directly from the work order portal. Excel files are also supported for invoices and settlement documents. Prime subscribers can upload multiple invoices in a single batch for fleet-wide analysis.
Zena checks every line item against industry benchmarks:
- Labor rates — benchmarked by work type (shop vs roadside) and region
- Parts markup — compared against OEM/dealer cost with a 30% maximum allowed markup
- Shop supplies and fees — capped at 5% of total labor
- Cancelled work orders — flags any WO marked Cancelled that still has charges
- Repeat repairs — same repair within 30–90 days triggers a warning
- Invalid part numbers — flags placeholder numbers like "999" that can't be verified
Zena automatically classifies each invoice as a shop repair or a roadside repair based on the vendor, work order notes, dispatch indicators, GPS coordinates, and timing. Roadside repairs carry a legitimate premium — mobile labor rates are higher ($100–$200/hr vs $75–$160/hr for shop) — so Zena applies the correct benchmark for each type. A roadside rate that looks high for a shop job may be perfectly acceptable for an emergency roadside call.
Settlement Audits
Yes. Zena verifies both AFP (Amazon Freight Partner) and DSP (Delivery Service Partner) pay settlements. AFP and DSP have fundamentally different pay structures — Zena understands both:
- AFP carriers are paid by the block — hourly rates, carry-over hours, fixed tractor payouts, and fuel deductions
- DSP carriers are paid per route and per package delivered — route rates, per-piece rates, stop counts, and any performance-based adjustments
AFP carriers:
- AFP Settlement Excel (.xlsx) — your weekly pay settlement from Amazon including the Payment Summary, Payment Details, and Carry-Over sheets
- Route History CSV (.csv) — your route history showing actual blocks completed
- DSP Settlement Excel (.xlsx) — your weekly pay statement showing route payments, per-piece rates, and any adjustments
- Route/Delivery Report (.csv or .xlsx) — your delivery data showing actual routes run, packages delivered, and stop counts
For AFP settlements, Zena verifies:
- Block rates vs your contracted rates
- Carry-over hours from prior weeks paid correctly
- Spill-over blocks assigned to the correct billing period
- Fuel deductions reconciled against actual transactions
- Fixed tractor payouts present and accurate
- Any deductions or adjustments that don't match your records
- Per-route payments vs actual routes completed
- Per-piece rates applied correctly against actual package counts
- Stop count accuracy and any missing route credits
- Performance-based adjustments and whether they were applied correctly
- Any deductions, chargebacks, or adjustments that are unexplained or incorrect
Dispute Reports
Zena's dispute reports include exact dollar amounts, the specific benchmark or rule violated, line-item evidence, and step-by-step submission guidance formatted for the Amazon Resource Center. They're built to be specific and factual enough that vendors can't dismiss them with a generic denial. If a dispute is denied, Zena also provides escalation paths to help you push further.
Zena's generated dispute is formatted to match the Amazon Resource Center portal exactly:
- Step 1 — Go to Resource Center → Support → New Case
- Step 2 — Select Case Type: Maintenance
- Step 3 — Select the appropriate Sub-Type (Pricing, Repair Quality, etc.)
- Step 4 — Fill in FAS Name, Vendor, Asset ID, Invoice Number, WO Number, Amount Disputed
- Step 5 — Paste Zena's Reason for Escalation directly into the portal
- Step 6 — Upload the work order PDF and submit
Starter plan: 4 dispute generations per month. Additional generations can be purchased (+3 for $4.99, +10 for $12.99). Prime plan: Unlimited dispute generations with no monthly cap.
